Living Carefully

Carefulness is what keeps us from the many dangers hunting us every where every day. Dangers, seen and unseen, physically and spiritually and in every aspect possible, that are orchestrated by the enemy to make us fall. As Ephesian 5:15 stated, "Be very careful... " , yes indeed we must be!
Read Ephesians 5:15-20

These passages from the Holy Scriptures is teaching to be very careful, thus giving us important factors of how a Christian can live carefully.


1. "BE WISE"
     Be wiser than your enemy. It's the only way you can outsmart and beat him, be wiser. How can we do that? The answer is in James 1:5 that says, "If anyone of you lack wisdom, let him ask of GOD..". Ask God to make you wise, don't be hasty, and don't be impatient, be wise and trust GOD.

2. "MAKE MOST OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY"
     Time is a valuable asset for anyone. That's what we all have in common, we all have our personal 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week, 672 hours a month and 8,064 hours a year. The only thing that differentiate us regarding our time is HOW WE USE IT! A Christian who wants to live carefully will use his time doing good, doing God's will, doing all things for the glory of God.

3. "UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LORD'S WILL IS"
     What danger could possibly surprise you if you know all things? The answer is NONE! The Lord knows all things so following His will will keep us from every plotted attacks of the devils that are meant to make us fall. You can't take care of your self alone, you need instructions, you need guidance, and the best of it comes from the Lord. Understand the Lord's will for you and walk in it.

4. "BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT"
     Hallelujah! Being filled with the Spirit is what empowers a Christian in all things! Even if you know what to do, even if you know where to go, if you don't have the strength to do it, it will be nothing. Dead brethren, we need the Holy Spirit to fill us everyday. We can live carefully, not by might nor by power but by HIS SPIRIT!.

5. "SING AND MAKE MUSIC FROM YOUR HEART TO THE LORD"
    Praise and worship are powerful weapons against the work on the enemy. We remember when King Saul is being influence by the spirit of the enemy, David will only play his harp and it will go away. Praising the LORD makes us closer to Him, the Bible says, "He dwells in the praises of His people". If you are close to God, that is the safest place you could ever find.

6. "GIVE THANKS FOR EVERYTHING"
    What could possibly burden you if you give thanks for everything? The answer is NONE! It is the Lord's will for us to give thanks in and for everything (I Thess. 5:18)
